What the program — covers
The program runs across 9 weeks and covers 7 distinct finance tool categories, from basic budgeting structures to multi-variable investment evaluation. Sessions run Tuesday and Thursday evenings, with recorded replays available within 24 hours for participants in different time zones.
Each week pairs a conceptual session with a case-based workshop where participants apply the week's tools to a prepared scenario. Scenarios are drawn from small business planning, personal financial structuring, and project costing contexts.
"The shift happened during Week 4 when we worked through variance analysis on a real operating budget. I had seen the formula before but never understood what the numbers were actually telling me until that session."

Program structure and what is included
Moravent operates entirely online, which means participants from British Columbia to Nova Scotia access the same materials, the same facilitators, and the same peer group. Sessions run on a fixed schedule but recordings are available for those who miss a session due to time zone or schedule conflicts.
The program launched in 2023 and has since run 4 cohorts across two annual cycles. Cohort sizes are kept at 24 participants to allow genuine discussion rather than passive attendance. Each session ends with a 20-minute Q&A period where participants can raise questions from their own financial situations.
- All 18 live sessions included
- Written materials and worksheets
- Session recordings (6-month access)
- Peer discussion forum access
- Facilitator Q&A at each session
- Certificate of completion
