Anti-Spam Policy
Last updated: July 31, 2025
Moravent is committed to maintaining a communication environment that is respectful, relevant, and free from unsolicited or deceptive messaging. This Anti-Spam Policy explains the standards we uphold for all outbound communications sent through our platform and the obligations that apply to anyone who uses our services to reach others.
1. Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to all electronic communications sent by Moravent or by users of the Moravent platform, including but not limited to:
- Email notifications, newsletters, and promotional messages
- Automated messages related to account activity or course participation
- Messages sent through any messaging feature provided within the platform
- Communications facilitated by integrations or third-party tools connected to our services
This policy applies regardless of the technical method used to deliver the communication.
2. Our Commitment to Responsible Communication
Moravent sends communications only to individuals who have a legitimate reason to receive them. We do not send unsolicited bulk messages, and we do not sell, rent, or share contact information with third parties for marketing purposes.
2.1 Consent-Based Messaging
All promotional or non-transactional messages sent by Moravent are based on one of the following grounds:
- Explicit opt-in consent provided by the recipient at or before the time of registration
- A pre-existing relationship established through use of our services, where communication is reasonably expected
- A specific request made by the recipient for information or updates
2.2 Transactional Communications
Certain messages are sent without requiring separate marketing consent because they are necessary to deliver the service. These include account confirmations, password resets, payment receipts, seminar reminders, and security alerts. These messages are limited strictly to their functional purpose.
3. Message Content Standards
Every communication sent by or through Moravent must meet the following content standards:
- The sender identity must be accurate and clearly identifiable
- The subject line or message header must truthfully reflect the content of the message
- No false, misleading, or deceptive claims may be included
- The physical or registered mailing address of Moravent must appear in promotional messages
- A clear and functional unsubscribe or opt-out mechanism must be present in every non-transactional message
4. Unsubscribe and Opt-Out Mechanism
Recipients of promotional communications from Moravent may withdraw consent at any time. Each such message includes an unsubscribe link or instruction. Requests to opt out are processed promptly and completed within ten (10) business days of receipt.
Opting out of promotional communications does not affect the delivery of transactional messages necessary for the continued use of the service.
To opt out manually or to update communication preferences, contact us at [email protected].
5. Prohibited Uses by Platform Users
Users who access Moravent services may not use any communication feature provided on the platform to:
- Send unsolicited bulk messages to other users or external contacts
- Harvest, scrape, or collect contact information from the platform for external mailing purposes
- Use misleading sender information, false subject lines, or deceptive content
- Distribute commercial solicitations unrelated to legitimate use of the platform
- Circumvent or interfere with opt-out or unsubscribe mechanisms
- Send communications that contain malware, phishing content, or links to harmful resources
- Impersonate Moravent, its staff, or other platform participants
Violation of these prohibitions may result in suspension or termination of platform access, removal of content, and reporting to relevant authorities where applicable.
6. Handling of Spam Reports
6.1 Reporting Abuse
If you believe you have received a message that violates this policy, whether originating from Moravent or from another user of the platform, you are encouraged to report it. Reports can be submitted to:
Please include the original message, any relevant headers if available, and a brief description of the concern.
6.2 Investigation Process
All spam complaints are reviewed by our team. Where a complaint relates to a user of the platform, we investigate the matter in accordance with our Terms of Service and take appropriate action. We do not retaliate against individuals who submit good-faith reports.
7. Third-Party Service Providers
Moravent uses third-party providers to facilitate the delivery of electronic communications. These providers are selected on the basis of their compliance with recognized anti-spam standards and their ability to support secure, consent-based messaging. They are contractually prohibited from using data shared with them for any purpose beyond the service they provide to us.
8. List Hygiene and Data Practices
Moravent maintains accurate and up-to-date contact lists. We do not purchase contact lists from external sources. Our lists consist solely of individuals who have engaged with our services or provided consent directly. Inactive or bounced addresses are removed on a regular basis to maintain the integrity and relevance of our communications.
9. Policy Enforcement
Compliance with this policy is a condition of using Moravent services. We reserve the right to take any of the following actions in response to violations:
- Issue a formal warning to the user responsible
- Suspend or permanently terminate platform access
- Remove offending content or restrict communication features
- Disclose information to relevant authorities where legally required or where harm has occurred
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Anti-Spam Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technical capabilities, or applicable standards. When material changes are made, we will update the date shown at the top of this document. Continued use of the platform following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
